A major resource for our majors in entrepreneurship is the Murphy Enterprise Center, which was recently recognized as a First Tier Regional Program by Entrepreneur Magazine. The Murphy Enterprise Center was established through the generous support of alumni Ken Murphy and his late wife, Shirley. Their endowments support both the operations of the center and scholarships for students in entrepreneurship. The annual leadership luncheon, held each year in November, recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs as well as the accomplishments of our students, including a new venture creation contest that provides seed money to "budding" entrepreneurs.
